Pocatko Builders was founded by Josh Pocatko, a builder with more than 15 years in residential construction. The company started in central Ohio with hands-on renovations and grew into a high-end custom build practice — now based in Lake Wylie, South Carolina, and focused exclusively on premium outdoor living.

The shift was intentional. After years of building everything from new homes to interior renovations, Josh narrowed the focus to where craftsmanship matters most visibly: decks, porches, patios, and the full outdoor environment around a home. Outdoor living is where structural skill, finish detail, and design sensibility have to coexist — and where most contractors fall short on one or all three.

Today, Pocatko Builders works with homeowners across Lake Wylie, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Clover, Rock Hill, and the Charlotte metro who want their backyard to feel as considered as the rest of their home. Every project is designed with 3D renderings, permitted and inspected, built with premium materials, and run from a clean job site by a licensed General Contractor.

Josh works closely with his wife Krystin, a real estate professional in the same market — a partnership that brings construction expertise and market-driven design sensibility into the same conversation.
